The members of our staff are dedicated to promoting the well being of others.  Our goal is to have each guest leave us relaxed and rejuvenated. Therefore, we ask that these few, but important, rules of Spa Etiquette be observed:

 

Your time with us is precious:  Please take full advantage of your visit by arriving 15 minutes prior to your first treatment. This will allow ample time for you to enjoy our surroundings in anticipation of your treatment.  Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.

 

Enjoy:   Learn to take time for yourself.   Should you require anything, always feel free to ask.

 

Communicate with your treatment provider: The best treatments require honest communication with your therapist. During your treatment, let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort or would like special attention on a particular area. Please alert your therapist to any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, surgeries, or medications you are taking as they may affect our ability to perform your requested treatment

 

Gratuities:  Gratuities are not included in the price of treatments. The recommended standard gratuity for spa services is 15%-20% of the price of the treatment received.   Feel free to provide larger gratuities for exceptional service. Gratuities to therapists should be paid in cash. Small envelopes are available at the reception desk for all gratuities.

 

We strongly recommend that spa services be booked prior to arrival by calling spa appointments at (718) 267-6440.  Walk-ins are welcomed but Spa services are subject to availability.

 

Party Bookings: Wedding, baby,  birthday  parties are welcomed. Please call us for arrangements. For parties of  5 or more, a gratuity of 20% will be added to the service total.

 

Gift Certificates.  Gift Certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable. Spa cannot be responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. All packages must have all treatments performed in the same day. Any remaining value from a gift certificate will be kept on the gift certificate.  Spa Gift Certificates must be presented at the time of appointment.  Gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotion.   Gift certificates are non-fundable & non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for gratuities.

 

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property.   Spa is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. Spa is not responsible for any found items, but will contact the owner if known. If the owner is not known, the item will be kept for 90 days before given as a donation.

 

Refunds & Exchanges.  There are no refunds on products or gift certificates. Retail can be exchanged for up to 7 days if not used or opened.

 

Cancellation Policy.  As a courtesy to our many customers and limited availability, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of treatments.  The spa reserves the right to charge clients for late arrivals, missed appointments or late cancellations.  Guests are responsible for a minimum of 50% of the service charge for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.  A credit card or gift certificate will be charged for the outstanding balance.  We do not provide refunds for cancelled appointments. Please note that a credit card number is needed to hold your reservation.

 

Party Cancellation.  We require a minimum of 2 weeks notice for cancellation or rescheduling of group parties.  Group will be responsible for a 50% service charge.

 

Prices are subject to change without notice. Please confirm prices when booking your appointment as prices of items on our website or in our spa may change before we have a chance to update them online. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

We respect our guests' privacy.  Spa services require open communication between our staff and guests to ensure correct treatments and products are used. Personal information is collected solely to better understand and service your health and well being needs. Be assured that any personal or sensitive information shared with us will be held in the strictest confidence, and your privacy respected in all matters.

 

Payment.   For your convenience, The Spa accepts cash, Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Spa gift certificates.
